▲General Ticket Registration Guidelines

1. Registration Assistance: If you have trouble registering or come across any other registration related issues, please fill out this form and we will reach out to you to assist via email.
2. Registration Confirmation: After successfully receiving your payment, the platform will send a confirmation email in Chinese verifying successful registration. Your electronic invoice will also be included in the email. System sent invoices will be in Chinese only.
3. Invoice: For foreign delegates, please choose the "Cloud Invoice" option when you are filling out your buyer info. This option will send the invoice electronically to your email. The "Business Invoice" option is only available for Taiwanese organizations with an eight digit VAT code. Should you require an additional "proof of purchase" with your company title/VAT number listed, please email us at conference@asiaforanimals.com. We will provide an English version to you at your request. Please note the "Donate My Receipt" option is for those who wish to donate their receipt to an NGO in Taiwan to be used in the national invoice lottery. The NGO will then receive the prize money if your receipt wins the lottery. 
4. Conference Ticket: After you have successfully paid for your ticket, we will send you a QR code/ticket via email. The QR code will be scanned at the registration table when you sign-in on the day of the conference.
5. Badges: Badges will be provided on the day of the conference at the registration table.
6. Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted by August 5, 2025, 23:59 (inclusive). A 10% processing fee will be charged. Refund requests will not be accepted after this date. If you are late to the conference or leave midway, you will not be entitled to request a refund or a new ticket.
7. Included Items: Each ticket includes access to WHOVA, conference bag, lunches/tea-breaks, welcome reception, gala dinner, and an excursion (optional).
8. Participation Certificate: If you need a participation certificate for the conference, please email conference@asiaforanimals.com to request one. The certificate will be sent to your email after the event.
9. Organizer's Right to Modify: The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel this event. Any changes will be announced on the website without additional notice. In the event of a typhoon, natural disaster, or any other unforeseen event, the conference may be postponed; please refer to the AfA Conference website for conference updates.

★Weather in Taipei

In August, the weather in Taipei is usually hot and humid, with occasional afternoon thunder showers. The highest temperature can reach 38°C. Taiwan's summer (June to October) falls during the Pacific typhoon season and the entire island is often hit by typhoons during these months. Taipei is generally safe but strong winds and heavy rain may still affect your travel plans. Be sure to keep a close watch on the weather forecast and we recommend booking airfare and accommodations that are exchangeable or refundable.
