▲General Ticket Registration Guidelines

1. Registration Confirmation/Invoice: After successfully receiving your payment, the platform will send a confirmation email in Chinese verifying successful registration. An electronic invoice will also be included in the email. The email and invoice will be in Chinese only.
2. Conference Ticket: You can login to view your ticket/QR code at any time. The QR code will be scanned at the registration table when you sign-in on the day of the conference.
3. Badges: Badges will be provided on the day of the conference at the registration table.
4. Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted by August 5, 2025, 23:59 (inclusive). A 10% processing fee will be charged. Refund requests will not be accepted after this date. If you are late to the conference or leave midway, you will not be entitled to request a refund or a new ticket. For refunds, login to the registration page and go to "My Ticket" -> select the blue "View Ticket" button on the right (you will see your QR code)-> scroll to the bottom and select the 退票 Refund button. 5. Included Items: Each ticket includes access to WHOVA, conference bag, lunches/tea-breaks, welcome reception, gala dinner, and an excursion (optional).
6. Participation Certificate: If you need a participation certificate for the conference, please email conference@asiaforanimals.com to request one. The certificate will be sent to your email after the event.
7. Data Collection Notice: The 2025 Asia for Animals Conference Organizing Committee requires collecting your personal information, including "Name, Email, Contact Phone (work), Organization, Job Title, and Mobile Number" for "Event Registration Data Management and Contact" purposes. This information will be used solely for registration management and essential contact within the event's duration and location.
8. Organizer's Right to Modify: The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel this event. Any changes will be announced on the website without additional notice. In the event of a typhoon, natural disaster, or any other unforeseen event, the conference may be postponed; please refer to the AfA Conference website for conference updates.

★Weather in Taipei

In August, the weather in Taipei is usually hot and humid, with occasional afternoon thunder showers. The highest temperature can reach 38°C. Taiwan's summer (June to October) falls during the Pacific typhoon season and the entire island is often hit by typhoons during these months. Taipei is generally safe but strong winds and heavy rain may still affect your travel plans. Be sure to keep a close watch on the weather forecast and we recommend booking airfare and accommodations that are exchangeable or refundable.
